Co-op/Intern – Debug Tools

The Role:

The AMD Debug Tools Team is seeking fresh talents who is passionate about technologies & can quickly learn to help develop/enhance SW features. This role offers the opportunity to show off your technical interests and skills such as learning silicon debugging on the job, learn solving engineering problems and apply your programming knowledge using one or more languages like C++/Java/C#/Angular/Scripting.

The person:

In this position you will be working as a co-op/intern of a high-performing agile team, which will have you working with everyone from SW architects to Software Engineers. If you thrive in fast paced, technically challenging environments, where you get to work on a variety of different engineering problems, this could be an outstanding opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities:

• Ask, explore, learn, and contribute to proof of concepts and/or development of tools
• Collaborating with peer engineers to actively help with the on-going SW Development/Enh
• Researching and prototyping new software features/solutions
• Support existing software features and improvements within pre and post silicon environments
• Engage as a teammate, demonstrate AGILE methodologies, and always ready to seek new challenges

Preferred experience:

• Should have good knowledge in software development
• Very good knowledge in C++/Java
• Development knowledge in Linux and Windows platforms
• Very good problem-solving skills, team player, constantly up/cross skill on modern technologies
• Knowledge in Angular/UI development will be a plus
• Knowledge in scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and JS will be a plus
• Knowledge in Embedded programming will be a plus
