This position is for one of the partners with Software AG, called ESCRIBA. It is a product based German company, started in 1998, in Berlin. They would be establishing their entity in India and develop their R&D center in Bangalore by the end of the year. The candidates would be on the payroll of Software AG and later when the entity is established they would be moving  to  ESCRIBA

Job Description:

Escriba AG is looking for a User Experience Design Intern to join our diverse and international team to create visible and impactful change! In this role, you will work with leaders/peers across product management,engineering, and other business functions to drive our existing product lines as well as steer our next generation offerings. You’ll work across both product, design and engineering teams to put your talent to work.

What you will do?

• Participate in the full design process from user research, concept creation, story boarding, interaction design and visual design.

• Plan and conduct user research with current and potential customers, in close collaboration withdesign and business leaders in the organisation.

• Synthesise your understanding and create a user journey that identifies opportunities for innovation.

• Facilitate design thinking workshops with key stakeholders to envision a new user experience.

• Bringing this vision to life through storyboards, wireframes and high-fidelity designs.•As needed, create click-through prototypes to demonstrate the capability of the new designs, to get buy-in from key stakeholders

• Work with UI Developers to evolve our brand identity style guide.

• Help instil an human-centred and collaborative culture in the company.

What you should have?

• Smart, articulate, and curious designer who loves all things design, wants to push the boundaries of technology and user experience, and is ready to take a project and run with it.

• You should have ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems, user problems, research findings, and translate them into practical design solutions.

• Holistic thinking –how the design will scale in the future and across platforms.

• Strong interaction design and visual design skills-ideally, a combination of both.

Qualifications

• A degree in Design, HCI, Visual design, or other related fields.

• Excellent knowledge of Figma

• Passion objects in the portfolio with examples of dedicated problem-solving.

• Understanding of common software development practices.
